Hello! I’m Maeve.

A resourceful & curious human interested in connecting dots and making sense of the world through data and design.

Strategic UX | Human-Centered Design | UX Architecture | Product Leadership

My approach

In my career I have learned to wear many hats and produce results with limited resources. I’ve also occasionally had the luxury of budget and time; my track record includes leading projects ranging in budget from $2,000 to $200,000 and managing teams of two to 25. Working with clients and customers has taught me how to mitigate risks and negotiate deliverables ensuring that the end product is a success.

As a human-centered person I love digging into messy situations and making sense of it all. I love learning how systems work (or are supposed to work) then finding a way to make them better for other humans. I am a planner and a problem solver. I am resourceful and like to set ambitious goals. And I hope to do work that makes a lasting impact and betters our society in some way.

Outside of work you can find me knitting or trying out a new recipe (and critiquing it as if I were Prue Leith). My husband and two kids constantly keep me on my toes and I’m forever dreaming of our next adventure together.

Capabilities

Data-driven and Resourceful

Data informs my approach and I use design thinking methods to drive collaboration across teams. I look for opportunities to apply knowledge across different initiatives then bring the right people together to effectively use those insights to build solutions for customers.

Capabilities

Strategic Thinking

I enjoy diving into complex systems to look for patterns, then work towards defining a relationship schema to connect the dots between users and systems. I set out to create a roadmap that aligns actionable milestones with business goals to create a valuable experience for users.

Capabilities

Service Leadership

Delighting clients and customers through effective design and content strategy has always been a core goal of mine. Usability and performance are more important than keeping up with trends. I want users to find what they need, discover content, generate leads, and complete tasks.
